A counterweight is a set of weights in an elevator system that maintains the balance between the elevator car and the load, and these weights are usually made of heavy metals such as steel

The importance of balance weight

Reducing the energy consumption of the counterweight helps reduce the load on the elevator motor. This balance also generates the necessary energy for the motor to move the weight difference between the car and the counterweight.

Increased safety By reducing the stress on the motor and cabling system, the risk of system failure is reduced and greater safety is ensured.

The smooth and fluid movement of the counterweight moves the elevator car smoothly and without vibration.
